A new rubber milking liner called IQLiner, from GEA Farm Technologies, is said to provide the optimal fit almost any teat, according to RuralNews.
Citing the GEA Farm Technologies, the report said, the new rubber milking liner results in less air ingress, better adhesion, complete milking out, better udder health and teat condition, and fewer manual corrections during milking.
GEA said the product is designed for maximum flexibility and adhesion. It has a patented nozzle-less connection to the milk channeling unit and the flexible part of the short milk hose has been doubled.
Also, the narrowing directly beneath the teat cup jacket and the pre-shaped short milk hose make for greater flexibility and adaptability to udder shape.
The end of the short milk hose is thicker so the teat cups disconnect evenly during the removal process, guaranteeing the milking cluster is always ready for use, according to GEA.
The liner is connected directly to the milk channelling unit via a patented, nozzle less quick-release connector. This enables them to be assembled quickly and without tools. A locking system prevents the liners from twisting.
An engraved product description and installation markings simplify assembly. The replacement is twice as fast as conventional manual processes and easier, GEA said. -- Source: RuralNews
