Tianjin Commerce Commission to assist exporters

Tianjin Commerce Delegation looking for various products to import.

On Monday the Trade Centre was visited by a Trade Delegation representing the Tianjin Commission of Commerce and the People’s Government of Tianjin. This group is actively seeking New Zealand businesses looking for growth into this particular market.

The delegation consisted of seven members all of which have special interests in various products ranging from natural health care and cosmetics through to out-door leisure equipment and furniture.

The primary objective of this group is to help exporters find the easiest path into the Chinese markets by way of support from an official government agency.

Having met with this group myself and finding the Deputy Director to be not only very pleasant but a fun gentleman to be around I’m very confident you will find this a good means for easy traction where otherwise the path may have seemed too slippery.

So if cosmetics, health-care, furniture and even a kayak are your primary product to export I believe it will be well worth making contact with this group.

If you happen to be in business producing any of the above types of products and would like to learn more about this company or for a personal introduction, please email me, laurie@nztc.co.nz or call (09) 366 6879
